How To Make a Pig Handprint Craft?

  • Download the Pig Handprint Template
  • Print and cut out the parts. 
  • Trace your child’s hand on a pink sheet of paper and cut it out.
  • Glue the pig head on the handprint’s thumb side.
  • Take the pig’s tail and glue it to the palm on the opposite side.
  • Finish the pig’s head by gluing the peach nose in the middle of the face.
  • Draw the two enormous nose holes on the nose with the dark pink marker.
  • Draw two small oval cheeks on either side of the nose with the light pink marker.
  • Draw the inner ears.
  • Draw the pig’s hooves on the bottom of the fingers using the black marker.
  • Cut a small triangular out of the fingers with the scissors to give it a more realistic look.
  • Draw mud spots all over the pig’s body and head using the brown marker.

  • Download the Crab Handprint Template
  • Print and cut out the parts the craft with handprints. 
  • Start by cutting two handprints of your child in red. Join them from the bottom when they are placed horizontally with the thumps facing upwards, or you can simply cut two joint hands in the shape required.
  • Using scissors or a circle punch, cut out two 2′′ circles. To make the crab claws, cut a little triangle form from the circular.
  • Begin putting the crab together by placing the two handprints with thumbs up and fingers outward.
  • Overlap the palms slightly and glue them in place.
  • Draw a crescent shape for the crab’s smile on white card stock. Draw a smiling line over the white crescent with the black marker. Remove the smile and save it for later.
  • In the center of the two handprints, glue the crab’s smile.
  • Glue the two crab claws to each hand’s pointer finger to keep them in place.
  • Cut out large eyes that surpass the thumbs or use bigger googly eyes and glue them to the top of the thumb so that some of the top parts of the eyes excel the thumb.
  • Congratulations! You have completed the Crab Handprint Craft!
