Step 1

Draw a loop link at the beginning. This will be the start of the chain, so the chain must be half-looped.

Step 2

Next, create a smaller oval that links to the loop. Now you have the first link. Great!

Step 3

Construct a loop using the middle line of the circle, overlapping the first set of ovals. The second loop will then be made.

Step 4

The links are now securely locked in place. The chain now has two links.

Step 5

Make a loop that overlaps the previous oval shape and creating the next chain loop.

Step 6

Repeat step 2, You can see that the links are tightly interconnected. There will be three links in the chain.

Step 7

Starting at the middle of the circle line and overlapping the first set of ovals. That forms the fourth loop in the chain.

Step 8

Repeat the step of forming the oval. You can see how the links have been locked in place. The fourth link will be attached. Ensure that all the links are facing in the same direction.

Step 9

Complete the chains by making the final loop, which overlaps the circle, in the center.

Step 10

Choose a chain color. You can see how the chain has been painted in two different shades to give it a shiny appearance. Is it going to be silver, metallic grey, or gold? Is it designed to become a necklace, a prisoner’s locket, or a treasure chest? Let your imagination run wild.
