Do you want to create a cute snowflake for Valentine’s Day? This tutorial will teach you how to make heart snowflakes. You can even use your kids art supplies!
If you’re an art teacher, this is a great project for the class. They’ll have fun making these while learning about symmetry and color mixing.

This heart snowflake looks so cute and it’s a lovely craft for Valentine’s Day as well so let’s make it.

Supplies needed:

  • Paper
  • Scissor
  • Pencil

Step 1

  1. Take a square sheet of paper.
  2. Fold in half.
  3. Fold in half again.
  4. Fold diagonally.

Step 2

  1. Fold the left side of the triangle backwards and make sure it is aligned with the edge.
  2. Flip the triangle and repeat.
  3. Draw two half heart shapes as showing below. The curved part of the outer heart goes over the edge of the paper.
  4. Cut it and open it.

Now Your Done!

The Heart Snowflake is a new way to show someone you care. It’s a simple, yet meaningful gesture that can help bring people together in this difficult time.
