In this tutorial we will learn how to draw a cactus! This tutorial is suitable for people of all ages. We will follow the step by step easy and simple instructions to draw a cactus.

Most of the kids love to draw and color the plants. In our childhood, when we were asked to draw something, we opted to draw the cactus plant. It is easy and simple for the kids to draw the cactus plant. Just add the green stem and a few thorns. Here it is the most adorable and lively cactus plant!

Cactus plant is the thorny green plant often placed in the windows. It is quite easy for the kids to draw the cactus plant.

Draw a Cactus

In this tutorial, we will learn how to draw the cactus plant. Follow these simple and easy steps to draw the adorable cactus plant. 

What you need:

  1. Our printable cactus drawing guide
  2. Pencils for drawing the shapes
  3. Colors for coloring 
  4. Paper 

How to draw a cactus plant?

Draw the main stem of the cactus plant. For this, draw two widely separated ,curved ,parallel lines and join the ends of lines with a U-shaped curved line.

STEP 1:

Draw the thorns inside the cactus plant. Start this by drawing the vertical lines parallel to each other. Then, draw the thorns on the sides of the vertical lines.

STEP 3:

Draw the flowers on the top of the cactus plant. To draw the flower, trace a small circle and then add the leaves around the circle.

STEP 4:

To complete the drawing of the cactus plant, let’s draw the plant pot now. First draw the circular rim of the pot.

STEP 5:

Bottom of the plant pot is drawn by extending two lines from the rim and joining them by another straight line. 

STEP 6:

Draw another line parallel in the top of the plant pot.

STEP 7:

Color the cactus plant! And yes!
