How to draw a leaf?

Let’s get started!!

STEP 1:

First, draw two curved lines.  The curve of one line faces upward and the curve of the other line faces downward. Join these two lines at one end to form the corner of the leaf .

STEP 2:

Now, draw the stem of the leaf. For this, extend the lines from the other end of the leaf and join them together by another straight horizontal line.

STEP 3:

Draw two closely parallel lines in the middle of the leaf.

STEP 4:

Now,  from the midline of the leaf, extend the small vertical lines to the both sides of the leaf.

Draw the first line extending upward from the midline.

STEP 5:

Draw the second line extending downwards from the midline.

STEP 6:

Similarly, draw two other lines. One extending upward and other extending downward.

STEP 7:

Draw the similar lines on both sides of the midline.

STEP 8:

Color the leaf green. Leaves are always colored green. Yes! But when they fall in autumn, their color becomes yellowish brown.
