How to make Simple Origami Tulip


Origami Tulip

This blog post is about origami tulips! I’ll show you how to make them super easy. It’s a great way to get creative and have some fun with paper folding. If you are looking for a quick art project to make, look no further! Making origami tulips is not only an excellent way to teach kids about shapes, but they’re also adorable.

Supplies needed:

  • Red and Green color papers
  • Tape or Glue
  • Scissors

Step One

You will need 10cm x 10cm square paper. You can use Red paper, just cut the size in the square you prefer

Step Two

Fold the paper diagonally to make a triangle

Step Three

Fold this again in center to make a right triangle to make the crease line 

Step Four

Fold the both side corners toward the top front corner 

Step Five

Again fold the both side corners inward direction

Step Six

Turn over the shape 

Step Seven

You will need 15cm x 15cm square paper of green color and cut this in  square size

Step Eight

Make the crease lines in diagonal position and rotate the paper in rhombus shape

Step Nine

Now fold the both sides of the rhombus shape towards the central crease line

Step Ten

Fold these in half

Step Eleven

Now make the same shape to make the second leaf

Step Twelve

Now interlock the both Leafs to make the V shape

Step Thirteen

Now make the long strip for joining the Top Tulip part with lower part leaves

Step Fourteen

Use the paper tape of glue to join these from back side

Step Fifteen

Here is the final shape of the tulip
