Supplies needed:

We need a couple of supplies for this tutorial:

  1. Paper (choose any 4 colors of paper but make sure you have white and black)
  2. Glue
  3. Scissors
  4. Black marker

Step one

  • Take three strips of white paper. You can cut them in any size you like, but I had cut two into 4 in x 3 inches long strips and one in 3 in x 2 in.
  • Next, cut the black strip of the size 4 in x 3 in.
  • Cut a half-circle, as shown in the image.
  • Cut a small triangle for the nose.

Step Two

  • Now glue all the ends of the three-white paper as shown in the figure so that we have three white paper rolls as shown in the image.
  • Now on base paper (any color), stick the larger two rolls together as shown in the image and the little roll-on top.
  • Stick the half-circle on the top, as shown in the image. This is the base of the hat.
  • Now take the black roll and stick it vertically on top of the half-circle to complete the hat look.
  • Take the two twigs and glue them inside the middle white roll on the base paper, as shown in the figure.

Step Three

  • Draw two dots for eyes and draw a smile on the top white paper for the snowman’s face.
  • Make tow dots on each of the lower two white rolls to make snowman’s buttons.
  • Take the little orange triangle and glue it as shown in the figure to make the snowman’s nose.

And voila! We are done! What a fantastic snowman we have made. You can use different colors for the base. This is an excellent craft that could be given as a Christmas gift card and winter crafts. You can make these snowmen with your kids at school and decorate your class bulletin board with them for Christmas! Your kids will absolutely love this craft!
