Easy Paper Bee Puppet (Step By Step Tutorial)
Spring is the best time to learn new crafts and art skills like this Paper Bee Puppet. In this easy step-by-step tutorial, we will learn to craft a cute paper bee in no time. We all love ‘buzzing’ about bees even when it is not springtime. Their interesting facts often leave us in shock and most of us fear those little creatures.
Paper Bee Puppet
Honey bees are an important part of the ecosystem. It is the source of honey which is healthy and sweet. However, you can relax as in this step-by-step tutorial, we will be making cute and happy paper bee puppet that would not be scary at all.
What You Need:
- Yellow-colored sheet
- White-colored sheet
- Black colored sheet
- Scissors and pencil
- Glue
- Popsicle stick
Step 1:
First of all, start by cutting out two circles from your yellow paper one of the circles should be bigger than the other. Al the steps like the initial will be super easy and simple as they are made for kids like you all!
Step 2:
Now take your black marker and begin drawing strips on the bigger yellow circle and also fill it in with black or you can cut black strips and paste on the body. Join the two circles together as mentioned in this illustration. I can already predict how the bee is going to turn out like, can you?
Step 3:
Now take a white paper and cut two small circles out of it, about the size of our adorable and harmless bee. Make the pupil of the eye by making an even tinier black circle in the eye using black marker. Cut two small strips to make antenna and a triangle to make the tail of the bee.
Step 4
Also, stick the eyes on the small yellow circle as we have done in the illustration below. Also past antenna on the smaller circle. Don’t forget to add the triangular tail of the bee.
Step 5:
Now take white sheet again and cut a big heart out of it, about the bee’s size. This will give us wings!
Step 6:
Paste the heart from the back of the bee to give the idea of two wings. Draw a small curved line as the mouth part of the bee. You can try different shapes here.
Step 7:
The last step is to take a popsicle stick and paste it on the back of the bee! This will form a puppet bee that can be held in your hand and played with easily. You can also paste something on the stick like we have written bee on one of the sticks and pasted a glittery sticker on the other and kept the third bare!
