DIY Penny Tray

Decorating with copper accents is so trendy nowadays. You can use this tray to serve some cold or tea to your guests or keep it in the kitchen to hold mobile or as a decoration piece. Take some wooden old tray from your kitchen and paint it with metallic glaze color. Clean all the pennies and place them on the bottom of the tray.

Now take an equal quantity of resin and hardener and mix them. Kids can take the help of parents or elders to mix this solution. Now pour this liquid solution over the pennies. Use some plastic stick or knife to level or smooth the surface of the resin and let it dry for 12-24 hours. A plastic bin can be set over the tray to avoid any dust floating around. It will make the bottom super smooth and shiny.

Cool Penny Ring

The coin ring is an internet DIY classic. Coin jewelry is far more popular these days than it’s ever been before. Take a rhinestone trim, measure, and cut it around the penny. Add a small amount of super glue on the sides of the coin and set it on your rhinestone trim. Once glue holds, keep adding glue to the side of the penny to make sure that trim and penny are flush with each other.

Use your old simple ring and place the penny face down over it and join them together with the help of super glue. You will need to hold it in place for a minute or two until the glue holds and then let it dry for about an hour, to make sure it holds. With a shiny penny and lots of rhinestones, it’s not short on sparkle. You can use it as a gift for someone special in your life.

Homemade Key Chain

With just a few pennies and an extra keychain, you can make a personalized special penny keychain gift for your father, brother, or friend. Penny keychains don’t take much effort to make, and it’s a lot of fun trying to find those perfect pennies to include on your keychain. You could personalize the key chain by selecting a few shiny pennies from the year in which you were born or the birth year of someone for whom you are making this keychain.

Besides the pennies, you’re going to need a jump ring that connects the penny to the key ring. You can find both of these items at a local hardware store. Once you select your pennies, stack them up and drill a hole through their face, near the edge. Don’t perform this task yourself and ask for help from an expert who knows how to drill in the coin.

Now use a jump ring to connect coins with the key ring.

Your knowledge of creativity is described with the kind of art you put up. To turn a simple photo frame into a stunning art piece you only need an old photo frame, a few pennies, and super glue.

Clean the surface of the frame and paste coins one by one with super glue to cover the area of the frame. Keep them all lined up and then add a second layer of coins to cover the negative area of the frame. Keep repeating this process until you have all of the negative areas covered.
