Heart Shape Coat Card

Fascinating Heart Shape Coat Card

I will be more than happy to share this Fathers Day Heart Shape Coat Card with you all which is like a card and a gift too if you add a bar of chocolate or your Father’s favorite treat inside!

Father’s day is a day we celebrate internationally honoring our fathers and showing them our care for them. It is usually celebrated on the third Sunday of June which is the best day of relaxation and happiness.

Fathers Day Crafts For Kids

It is time to begin with this Father Day craft for all ages and make special memories at home!Grab the materials you require which are listed below and let’s get started with this project.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Black colored sheet
  • Blue colored sheet
  • Orange colored sheet
  • White buttons (two are more than enough)
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Black marker / or any other colored marker

Step 1:

Firstly, start by grabbing the blue-colored sheet and place it in the portrait way vertically. Now pull its right top corner and fold it to form a triangle just as we have done in the figure. Also, cut the sheet across the bottom of the triangle. This will give you a triangle. Make the card more special at the end by adding in more beauty to wish your father a very happy day!

Step 2:

Open the sheet and place it in a diamond shape. Fold it in this position to form a triangle and you might see a vertical line in the middle.

Step 3:

Now place the sheet in a way so that a cross is visible. Fold it horizontally in the middle to make a rectangle. Open it and rotate the paper so that the line you made in this step a few moments ago seems horizontally in the middle. Now fold the paper again horizontally to make a rectangle. This will make the sheet ready to move on.

Step 4:

Now turn the paper upside down. Place the sheet to see a diamond shape visible. Now if you focus, you can see four diamonds in the sheet, one on the top, in the bottom, on the left, and the right.

Firstly take the side of the bottom diamond and make it meet the side of the top diamond by pushing in the right diamond. Now you can see a diamond and a triangle as shown in picture two of this step.

Step 5:

Now begin pushing in the left triangle inside like we are doing. It will give you a figure as shown in the illustration below.

Step 6:

Now fold the diamond shape from the vertical middle to make a triangle. In addition, also draw a heart shape on the triangle, but make the heart emerging from where you folded the sheet, but make sure that you only draw the top curve of the heart shape. Do not draw the line that becomes pointed at the bottom!

Step 7:

Now begin cutting the shape you drew. Cut it carefully as messing up will not be good! This will make the card ready. Now we just need to decorate it!

Step 8:

Now take a piece of black colored sheet and place the heart shape on its corner and trace it out. Also, cut the shape out so we can quickly be done with this Fathers Day craft for toddlers in no time.

Step 9:

Now cut a small line using your scissors in the middle of the black heart shape. This will make a small separation between the two top curves of the heart shape. Now fold the paper on the top across the cut line to make the perfect collar for the DIY coat.

Step 10:

Now apply glue on the back of the black collar heart and stick it on the blue heart shape. Now grab your orange-colored sheet and cut a small bow that can fit on your blue heart card.

Stick the bow on the heart on the top. You can look at the picture below and know how you

exactly need to stick it! Now bring out two white buttons and glue them under the collar vertically in a straight line. It does not have to be perfect!

Step 11:

Now open the card and you will see a beautiful heart- flower shape.

Step 12:

Add decorations and writings to your card and paste heart cutouts. This will make the card even more special and lovely.

Hooray! This craft has been completed! Now go and present it to your father as he is going to love it. You can look for more crafts from us to make your days more crafty and artistic!
