They usually launch their websites for selling products or participate in various internet marketplaces and auction houses. The advantage of utilizing online sources is that selling costs would be reduced. Rather in that time, they can focus on their craft production and sell their products at competitive prices.

The artisans that sell their products through direct stores can find the retailers who agreed to sell their products in their stores. Most crafters prefer this type of arrangement to sell their products. 

    Some of the retailers made advanced deposits before the delivery of the products, and some of them prefer the sales based on commissions and consignments. They found that the respondents who had participated in these activities like fabric crafts and sewing spend at least five hours in a day and do crafts production. 

    The United States generates a platform on which the crafters sell their handmade products is known as Etsy. It is found that only in 2016, almost 1.7 billion active craft sellers generate annual revenue of about 3 billion U.S. dollars.
